De Parys Medical Centre is Research Active.

Conducting high quality clinical research helps us to keep improving NHS care by finding out which treatments work best.

Health professionals use research to try and find the causes of diseases and to find better treatments and services for those diseases and conditions.

De Parys is committed to supporting validated and ethical research. We do so under the auspices of the local Primary Care Research Network, NHS East of England.

Anyone registered with the practice could help shape the future of health care by participating in research projects. You may be approached by the practice and invited to participate.

You might be invited to take part in a research study. Taking part is voluntary, and can be a rewarding experience.

All research we participate in has been given full ethical and clinical approval.

We will always explain what the programme is about, and answer your questions. Participation is always voluntary and declining to take part will not affect your medical care in any way.

We will never include you in a research programme without your knowledge and consent.
